how can I fix 'Service not found on some channels'

Can some one help, I am getting
'service not found (SID not in patch)'

How can I fix this as this is happening on Nat Geo Wild channels.

It probably means the channels have changed frequency.

Do you have an up to date channel list?

It's possible that channel changed from frequency, then you get service not found if you open old channel.
With a rescan of the satellite you'll find the new channels. It's something I do myself when channel isn't found anymore.
Sites like king of sat and lyngsat show the frequencies of all satellite channels/bouquets

Sometimes i have the same problem because i have Hotbird / Astra so when i zap National geo Astra to National wild Hotbird result to service not found ! Soltution zap to another hotbird channel and back to national wild ^^ ! Maybe you have the same thing, if not not indeed refresh your service channel !

I have problem with SmartDVB on some channels there say video stream not found, and I go update or rescan and he find all pids and I save it, but on next start it is all like it was before rescan.

how do i refresh the service channels sorry if this sound bit obvious?

changed one parameter broadcast frequency, bit rate, FEC or low signal on the selected chasotote, try to rescan or look Transponder News

I get that error on some Part Time channels as well.

Means the frequency is there but the SID of the channels isn't.
An example of this is BBC3 on 28.2 if you try and tune to this during the day, as it shares this slot with a childrens channel CBBC During the day.

Some satellites have different signal levels depending on the time of day. 7w nilesat is one of them. I sometimes get this in the day and it comes back again at night.

It happens on My DM 500+ when i went motorised.
I just reloaded the settings.

Which receiver do you have? It could be HW/SW problem...
