Sky Deutschland has appointed Steven Tomsic as its new chief financial officer, replacing Pietro Maranzana who returns to Italy as deputy chief financial officer of Sky Italia.
Tomsic will work alongside Maranzana for a two-month period from December 5, though he is already familiar with Sky Deutschland having previously been CFO for News Corporation’s European channels business. He has also held senior strategy and business development roles at Sky Italia and Foxtel in Australia.
Maranzana has been Chief Financial Officer at Sky Deutschland since June 2009 having joined the company in November 2008 as Senior Vice President Finance. Previously, he was responsible for business planning at Sky Italia, which he joined in 2005.
