how to get xstreamity or jedi maker xstream to work?

I just bought a subscription (luckily 1 month), and I can download the m3u on my PC.

But when I put it in both Jedi Maker Xstream or Xstreamity's playlists.txt they both say "Server Not Responding".

Usually with other providers that is all I do. Do I have to do anything else to get it to work on any one of these?
When I do wget "<theurl>" it does seem to download it.

It seems the player_api.php script is not working so a lot of IPTV players that get the information about the server's subscription from there fail. I suspect that this is the problem.
Does anyone else using the IPTV from the VIP Section have the same problem?
