Hello i have a dreambox 500HD is it possible to watch iptv on dreambox
i have nowe sattelite on the dreambox but i want in the future watch iptv
i watch nowe iptv on samsung tv with the iptvapp

Not possible to my knowledge, best thing to do is buy a cheap Android box
like the MXQ Pro. around £40.

I don't know exactly if it is possible to install "Mediaportal" on the 500HD, but if yes, IPTV is no problem with this plugin.

I know for sure that some people have IPTV on their Dreamboxes, I saw it, but I don't know how it's configured.

so yes its possible to use your dm500hd

It is possible for sure!

Use IPTV plugin (XCPlugin using XML Script) by IPTV.Solution. It works fine for DM500HD, DM500HDv2 and DM800seDHv2. The xcplugin includes a folder named "xcplugin" and a file named xc_e2_xcplugin.xml. This is what you need to do:

1) Copy the xcplugin folder under the "usr\lib\enigma2\python\plugins\extension" folder,
2) Modify the xml file to include your username and password. Copy the file in the folder "\etc\enigma2". The username & password provided by IPTV.solution. Contact them for pricing....They offer free trial (for few days)....

There is a readme file, also included, to explain this....

IPTV on DM500HD works very good, no problems.
Has 400 Mhz MIPS.

Even on my 266 Mhz SH4 it works.

As long as you use a OE2.0 image iptv works on any enigma2 box no matter what brand i awapped my estarsim v3 for a japhar sim its the best option you can use any image you want fron any sim2 ferrari sim estar sim etc
