cccam won't connect anymore

hi there,
major problem with my technomate 5402 box. was fine saturday connecting to the cccam server, but sunday it wouldn't connect at all. i thought the server was down or there was an issue with my internet, reset everything, still the same and got my friend to try my clines and see if they work on his box, they did. so it must be something wrong with my box. I've formatted it and installed stock firmware, formatted and installed phantom patch... still the same. out of ideas, the box is connecting to the internet alright as the ******* app is working. any suggestions, or has the box somehow had it?!

My advice to you is to try other versions of technomate 5402 firmwares on your box, maybe one of them will work for you. Anyway, you didn't mention whether you wanted to connect to satlover server or another server. I suppose that you tried to connect to satlover server. In that case, according to the number of your posts, you can have access to server 3 lines, but server 3 is often busy so it can happen that you can't connect to it.

im using another server but did try the free ones on here, but none are connecting!
why would the cccam suddenly not work?
am gonna try the box at my dads, he hasnt got sly broadband, wondering if that could be the problem?

Maybe your internet settings block your cccam. Try to reboot your internet modem or router. Hopefully that will help.

Telnet to your box and then use the following commands for a complete troubleshooting:
"ps" to check if cccam is running
"netstat" to check if cccam is connected to the cs server
"telnet my.cs.server.com myport" to check if your box can connect to cs server on the given port

"telnet my.cs.server.com myport" to check if your box can connect to cs server on the given port

Telnet is a user command and an underlying TCP/IP protocol for accessing remote computers and in your case for accessing remote your receiver from your pc.

It's used for checking some functions as for example if the cccam is working or the c-line is alive.

But I think that your box can't support telnet

Check again the wires or restart your router in order to fix your problem.

have tried everything but no luck. pretty much out of ideas, if the box itself is fine and is connecting to the internet, could there be fault withit causing this?

Did you check if your box is working on other home (network)?

In this way, you will find if your box is ok or not.

Take your box and go your friend's house to check it.

If the internet is working fine and the C-lines you are using are working elsewhere then it should only be that your ISP is blocking access to certain addresses where the C-lines is one of them. To make sure of this, is it possible to test your box at your friends house using his internet that works? If it works on another internet connection then you know where your problem resides.

Hi. what is the name I need to look for when I use "ps" to see if cccam is running? When I restart cccam from openpli it says "cannot connect 127.0.0.1"
