    tm-twin

    Hi all.
    Does anyone have the tm-twin?
I have a Vu+ duo and I happy with it, but I'm looking for a second twin receiver and like the look of the tm-twin.
How is the support and what are the images/plugins like?
    Is it stable?
    Thanks for any info.

Get another Duo, The TM-Twin is basically the same chipset as the Duo but with less support.

Don't the Technomate have more sensitive tuners though?
I would really love to get a duo2 when they come out but think it'll be way to expensive.

I believe the Technomate does have a very sensitive tuner. Not sure how much better though.

Can anyone confirm or deny this. Does the Tm-twin have same tuners as the tm5402?

You would have to ask either someone who has one to open up the case and have a look at the tuner board or as technomate themselves, as we all know on the duo the tuners are soldered to the board.

All the other technomate closed receiver models, The tuners are added later on and then soldered pins to the mainboard

apparently vix have released an image for it, which could only be a good thing.
Unfortunately with the solo2, duo2 and gigablue quad coming out, I don't think I'll be getting a tm twin.
