    Tutorial - CCcam+Gbox with SSSP on non linux Technomate 1000/5000/6000 Series
    First you will need the software HDVB ( attached ) and your receiver connected to a windows pc via rs232 null modem cable, the receiver must have a patched image installed as the original Technomate software does not have SSSP options.
    Patched images are widely available

    To enable sssp on your image go to options and chose it as share mode,this is the same place you will have enabled au for keys during the old patch days.

    1.Download the software and extract to a folder on your desktop.
    Edit cccam.cfg in HDVB folder with your sever details. Once you've done that you need to make sure you add a 1 at the end ( circled ) or else the software won't recognise your sever.Settings that worked Good for me in CCcam.cfg

    [CCcam]

    Wantemus=1
    Active=1

    MaxHop=3

    2. Load HDVB and set the correct config setting as shown below by clicking on the config button on the right.

    3. Next click on open comport make sure the receiver is on standby before doing so. Once you've pressed the open comport button you can go the channels you want to clear.

    4. Thats all there is to it. Click on cccam tab to view your sever details etc.

    Thanks to wolftje & sakiblateef who made the original version of this guide, the results are perfect & only 5 minutes setup time.

    Will this work for a technomate 5402HD, and what is it's benefit because I will have to buy a RS232 cable...

      Why would you need this for a 5402 as with all the new patches cccam and newcmd are already active on the 5402 and as you probably know can be entered manually or via USB.

        I know that, Its just to have more freedom behind the scenes of the software. If its possible to edit/filter cards etc, increasing stability. I have always wanted to try this but Im obviously limited with this non- linux box.

          Correct you are limited with that box but saying that its a great client box, You obviously know that the only real edit/filter options comes with with the newcamd side of this box but thats about it.

          You never know future patches may come with some more editing features as i know this box and its twin brother the Blade 7000 are extremely popular at the moment so only time will tell.
