TM5402 procedures.

Hi folks, Does anybody use the 5402 for CS .? I have tried in vain to get connected many times, and think I must be doing something wrong. I have put all server details in required places, but not once has it shown "connected". Is there something I should do after inputting the server details to get connected??

Hi Digicon, Bad penny is back!!

I cannot get a "connection" for the server you suggested, when I turn to connect, it flickers for about 10 secs, as if its trying , then nowt. Would that not be operating now as you said they dont last long, or is it my end?

The rest of the 5402 is fine , you **** etc, so??

Can you suggest a current one( perhaps by PM?

I have one of these so I should be able to help. Firstly, make syre when your putting in server details you do it 100% exact and the password is case sensitive so make sure that is exactly how it looks. Then, make sure you set it to CCCAM instead of newcamd, make sure you got latest patch etc. Also make sure that the particular server you want is actually online...

Is it not possible to use Newcamd on 5402?

I must say I did not expect perfect results from a free server, but at least I know it works now!

The 5402 works perfect on Newcamd no problem what so ever. I am going to pm you a new .cfg with a test to see if you get it working.

My PM might have got a little erratic to enter the CAID information on the server page press the button which corresponds to FILTER i think it is the 'info' button then enter the CAID info i sent you.

OZZ just to put your mind at rest M8 when ever i get a Motor install booked for a full system i always use the 5402 for the reciever part unless a customer asks for a full linux box, I find they are probably the most reliable and stable cccam non linux box i have come across so far.

Im glad to see it worked! Of course it is possible to use newcamd but if you were trying to connect to the satlover servers, it would not have worked since they use CCCAM protocol

August 2011 is ok, that patch will have all the necessary features to unlock what you need. Make sure its not the official patch though

It is the 123p build. Although people say it is not as good as 117 so I would presume you should use that. I think that is what I have at the moment, if not then I use 120p.
