Spiderbox HD Patch 15/11/11

Connection protocols optimized.
No longer any need for flashing previous s/w.

Turn services off (ethernet and UCAS) & Factory Reset before flashing.
Factory Reset also after flashing.

Remember to back up all settings for reloading after Factory Resets.

Please ensure you download the correct patch for your box!

The Korean Developer Boxer 26 has announced the following:

Ethernet Connections

Older boxes' ethernet permissions have expired and they can no longer connect. Other boxes will suffer the same fate as time goes by. Only the oldest have this issue, and all have had service for much more than 12 months. Apologies for the delay in announcing this, I had personal matters to attend to.

well all i can say is i am happy i got shut of my spider box the last time it went off my poor dad is 84 years old and out the blue they dump them that got the spider box when it 1st came out and stuck with it we all know who sold this box and me for 1 would never have any box from them after this their are a lot out their that cost a lot less with more on them that have not give 1/2 the probs that the spider box did i feel for all of you that have a spider box as now they will be hard 2 sell i wish you all well and have a happy xmas and new year

We did get over 12 months worth of channels, and as always with the satellite game, things move on, hence I've discovered this great site to explore the other ways of keeping my spiderbox working!!!

Check your Hardware Version in System Information on the Menu.

Apparently only ones with FM in the version number have been cut off. If it is RM you're OK for the time being.

i never got mine for the free chns, i mentioned in other post, bought for hd pictures nothing last for ever, have found box good for other things. please no comments like,
what a doorstop.

can agree with you slimjim2061, but buyer beware, i think most peeps know there game, (whats the next box which will do fantastic things) perhaps make a cuppa for you as well, remember the darkbox and mr darkman, where did he vanish too, probably became alias, but there are some fantastic servers if you look, i for one will not be chucking it out for some time yet as plenty use in it.

If you lo carefully you will see Darkmans name every time you switch channels on your spiderbox DARKMANIA. Ye guys all good things must end but as has been mentioned plenty servers out there to keep this box alive.

The box is still a great peice of kit and there are plenty of uses for the box as we know. I personally got 18 months worth of free channels so can't complain about that!

Since this is the end (not for me I have RM) it will be time to be telling some of these arrogant ignorant people over on that forum what I think of them. hehehe
