Hyro 9000 HDTV Receiver 
The 9000 HDTV model adds PVR (Personal Video Recorder) harddrive functions also via a SATA connector on the rear panel (no opening of the receiver required, just connect and use). Also, a USB connector on the rear panel for USB harddrives and/or memory stick for firmware upgrades. RS232 connector on rear panel also for firmware upgrade via PC.
MP3, MPEG-1, MPEG-2 via USB/SATA harddrives
The 9000 HDTV receiver has a media player built in. It allows you to download movies and audio files to your USB/SATA harddrive, connect to the receiver, and watch without any converting or necessary additional codecs. The receiver autodetects the filetype/encoding and plays immediately via your TV (not all encodings are supported).
Play your movies on your PC
The receiver does not encrypt the optional USB or SATA harddrive. A traditional FAT32 partition is used, giving you full access to your movies on your USB/SATA harddrive.
