Re: Skybox F5 scrambled channels
Hi mate
The problem I think isn't your receiver or your router but it's your line.
Try a better line to test it.
If the problem remeins then you can try a different version of cccam or even other cam as mgcamd. If You Like My Post..... Please Press the Thanks Button -
Re: Skybox F5 scrambled channels
What kind of signal strength do you get from the n*va Greece channels ?
Maybe satellite alignment issue, compare signal strength of channels that work
with the one your are having problems with.Liked my post then push the sigpic button.Comment

Re: Skybox F5 scrambled channels
I doubt its an alignment issue when the OP is based in Greece going off his country flag. if you are referring to the Nova HD package then sorry these are non sharable and the SD ones can be a bit hit and miss at timesComment

Re: Skybox F5 scrambled channels
I use the same line with a dm500 clone and all channels work fine.Signal is at 75%+ and i know that the hd channels are not sherable. There is something wrong with the reciever. All channels were playing yesterday
I just switched to my dm500!All sd channels play.......Comment

Re: Skybox F5 scrambled channels
hi
If the line is still working on the dm500 and worked before on the F5 as you say, problem should be the box. If n*va is that important on the F5, try to do some kind of reset/re-install, but take back-ups of soft/settings/channels before you start. Also - probably not, but why not check - has your router the latest soft, even re-install - also shutting down the box+router+cables for a night sometimes helps (as there stay certain settings in the router if it's only shortly shut down, which can cause problems - I've had this myself and it helped me out).Comment

Re: Skybox F5 scrambled channels
i don't know what prio file the 5m500 has but i just installed a prio for nova on the f5 and it didn't help. What i noticed is that the f5 plays channels that the dm500 doesn't play (some french) so it could be a prio issue?Comment

Re: Skybox F5 scrambled channels
Try installing the latest firmware from skybox.cc but I still can't see how it is the
F5 that is causing the problem if it affects only certain channels and not all.
The Cccam.prio file would not have any effect on the channels you receive if
you only have the one line it would only come into effect if you had more then
one line then you could give priority to one line over the others, for just one line
it is not required at all.
p.s. if you do flash firmware make backup of your line.Liked my post then push the sigpic button.Comment

Re: Skybox F5 scrambled channels
hi again katoikos, saw your post today and have to ask, did to do any channels search last days? because there are some channels that have the same name 3 or 4 times and only 1 work on my receiver so can you check in all services it may solve your problem. If my post was useful, please, use "Thanks" buttonComment

Re: Skybox F5 scrambled channels
I agree with kostis, to be sure that a certain channel is open on the db and not on the F5, just compare a channel with the same sid (= same sid = really same channel, whatever the channelname may be).Comment

Re: Skybox F5 scrambled channels
thanks for your replies guys;i've allready done that many times. It's strange cause the f5 didn't work from the 1st time. Then it worked for 2 days without changing anything and now problems again.I scanned for channels updated to last firmware ;updated softcam keys and...nothing .I'm very dissapointed .Returning it tomorrow morningComment
