compatible USB stick or hard drive for Skybox F5

    Hi guys!
to all Skybox F5 user, which USB stick or hard drive do you recommend?
I just tried an old one that works on my computer but doesn't get detected by the box (under 200mo stick)
I think 5GB min would be nice, around 10 pounds on ebay...
Just let me know you experience
Is it compatible only with USB 2.0?
Another question, is there a way to use a USB hub to use hard driver and Wifi at the same time?

    Thanks!

You can't use usb hub to run wifi and hard drive at the same time invest in
homplugs for your internet connection, you get a more stable connection.

      hi guys

sorry, no suggestions on the usb/hdd question, just a short reaction on the homeplugs: see this thread if you want some more info: http://www.satlover.eu/forum/satelli...homeplugs.html - and sorry, mahrkpat, but I'm still not convinced about them - when they work = ok, but after a few years they suddenly stopped working here, tried with new set, didn't work either ...

Two way or more splitters won't work m8 as mahrkpat said homeplugs or straight ethernet cable from router to your box. I could be wrong but I don't think it matters which usb stick or harddrive you put on. I used to have a usb 8gb stick I now have a 180gb usb harddrive attached to mine.

I am using Lan connection. I was curious to know if it would work like this.
About the stick I have a really small one of 128mo that doesn't work on the skybox but works on laptop. Formated in fat32 give same issue.
Does the box can read 3.0 usb sticks? It should be faster right?

Yes, the box can read usb 3.0
but works as usb 2.0, as it has usb 2.0 port and just downgrade the stick to usb 2.0.
