Re: loop output m3
A loop output (or sometimes loopthrough) means that the sat-signal goes in the box and you can use the output to connect another box with the same sat signal. But be carefull: If you are watching horizontal channels with the first box you can only watch horizontal channels with the second (the same for vertical, high and low-band).If you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans!Comment

Re: loop output m3
You can feed the satellite signal through to another STB eg upstairs so
that if you leave the one downstairs on standby you would be able to
control the LNB from the upstairs STB. Like multiroom but only control
LNB from one STB at the time otherwise see Satphoenix's post.Liked my post then push the sigpic button.Comment

Re: loop output m3
You don't need to install a seperate dish for you 2nd receiver. You could just simply feed the sat signal from your main receiver to your 2nd receiver through a loop.If you like my post, please don't hesitate to click on "Thanks"button. Thank youComment

Re: loop output m3
hi guys
all correct, but I have both my boxes right next to each other and always have 1 standby - to watch 2 boxes at the same time (without any problems) the loopthrough function really isn't the best solution.Comment

Re: loop output m3
The loop output is that how satphoenix explained you.
But if you want to watch diffrent channels (other singnals) on two receivers and one dish you need two lnb's.
You can buy a lnb holder for 3 euro and an extra lnb set them and then you can watch diffrent channels with diffrent signals and 1 dish.

Re: loop output m3
In fact Loop output of the receiver and is the divisor. Only is there a need to take into account the moments, that does not met the supply voltage of the Converter from two receivers, i.e. it must be implemented in isolation.Comment

Re: loop output m3
best to ****** for sat twin tuner - btw: why twin tuner? if you have 2nd box, you don't need a twin (or am I wrong?)Comment

Re: loop output m3
Sorry, I don't know that many but I have heard good things about vu+solo2.
You can look in the vu section or ask.
As I heard and read the twin/dual tuner receivers are a bit more expensive than the single ones. (obviously )
To have it cheaper buy two single receivers (sometimes cheaper than 1 dual)
And as pan110 mentioned why twin tuner?

Re: loop output m3
If you want to use either a twin-receiver or two receivers to receive different channels from different sats or different polarisations from the same sat (hor/vert, high/low) you need necessary a twin-lnb or two different sat connections. Even a twin-receiver can only get the signal from one frequence-band (hor/vert, high/low from one sat) if you use the loopthrough output. This is unfortunatly one of the problems of sat-receiving.If you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans!Comment
