    recording on m3

    hi is it at all possible to record one program whilst watching another on the skybox m3 with both satellite cables plugged in thanks

    depends on your setup (box, dish, lnbs) ; normally with 1 tuner you can only watch a channel and record another at the same time if they're on the same TP

      The M3 has only one tuner therefore the answer is no, correct me if I
      am wrong but M3 has only one input for the LNB the other I think
      might be the output for going to another sat receiver.

        true, boxes with 1 tuner can have a loopthrough function to go to another receiver, as mahrkpat said, one should say in, the other should say out - but watching and recording must be possible from the same transponder (Tp) - as my post #2

          The M3 only has a single tuner but as with any single tuner you can record other channels that are on the same transponder as the one you are watching
