    help with f3 skybox please

Hello all, this is my first post on here and after only having the box for less than a week i have managed to get working all in under an hour which included fitting a new lnb and tuning dish in, i was well impressed. Thanks to many forums and great folk like yourselves. But i need answers to a couple of questions
    1) i have brought some clines of a website, first of all i was sent 4 lines all off which were freezing badly, but late at night seemed to work fine. However i moaned about them and have been sent 3 totally different lines.2 of which seem fine and 1 just pausing every 5 mins or so, i been trying them individually but is it best to keep all 3 active.
    2) Does the box know which gives best server and is it worth adding more although i know box will except 7
3)I have had a dabble at moving dish and found 2 other satellites but its only a battered 10 yr old sky dish, thinking of getting a motorised dish now and want to know if will work ok with skybox f3 also do you think that 80cm dish will be good for receiving a few satellites in the west midland area (Dudley)
4)if paying for clines from satlovers premium do they give freeze free service

You should try just one line at a time to see which line is best, even a
single line can give good performance sometimes one line may interfere
with another. Keep the 2 good lines active disable the third.
You can use motorised dish with the F3, 80cm dish is good.
No matter where you get a line there will be some freeze but I think
satlovers line are good specially if you are going to go motorised they
will open up other satellites than just 28.2e.

      hi eurobunny

I agree with mahrkpat ; seems satlover premium is stable, althought honoustly doubt if you'll find a 'freeze free' one somewhere. Me too, I have the impression 2 clines can give good results, more can cause stability problems (interference).

About satlover: should you test with freelines: be sure only to use 1 cline of the same server at the same time ; as you're new with few posts, the freelines can give you answer of what's open, but they will be unstable with freezing (just fyi).

I have 3 active c lines and 1 active nline all working in cccam together just fine. Although I don't have an openbox.
It tends to use the line that gives the fastest response, so should pick the best line to open the channel.
An 80 cm motorised would give you a much wider choice of satellites with my favourites being 28.2e, 19.2e, 13e, 9e and 0,8w. I have an 80cm in the south east and just mange to pull in most transponders on 16e which is pretty popular for football, so if you can go slightly bigger I would if I were you. Maybe even get 26e which is great for free blockbuster movies, I can't get this sat though.

A big thanks to all of you that replied, wow didn't have to wait long for an answer did I.
The sat numbers is a nice starter for me too, just need to get dish ordered now.

              hi eurobunny.
first thing to say is that unless your paidlines from servers are not overloaded you should get pretty good service, a lot of servers go for the maxium peers they can get, more for them if you know what i mean.
i had approx 8 lines in my box a while ago, but now down too 2 as i found that the box i use, spiderbox7000, a bit tempremental with too many lines, conflictions/freezes.
the lines here (stlovers) are very good, not exactly freeze free but tell me a server that is.
lastly, get motor on dish, easy to fit, with a bit of time, and decent day, that will open a lot more footy/films etc for you, if not, you miss a lot.
              take care
