Re: factory reset
hi chriskinn and welcome!
Honoustly, I don't have an openbox, but when I look back at some other brands, they all kept their firmware after factory reset.
Tip anyway: before resetting, always try to take back-ups of all you can (firmware, channels, sat settings), one never knows ...
edited: apparently openbox wipes also firm after reset, so different from boxes I know, thanks microchick -
Re: factory reset
beware chriskinn
i have done myself in the past, 2 factory resets, and lost all. (in tech-no-mates, 5000,1500, models)
a factory reset means as it left the factory, (no third party support)
state why you want to do a factory reset, willing members could help.
thats what a forum is for.Do not send me iptv/cline requests,
technical or iptv/cline server questions in PM!
I will not answer!Comment

Re: factory reset
Yes, It will remove your existing firmware and will revert your receiver back as when you bought it. After factory reset its a good idea to make a back up of your factory firmware by making a dump file. In case you need it in the future. If you like my post, please don't hesitate to click on "Thanks"button. Thank youComment

Re: factory reset
Yes, in case something goes wrong with the new firmware and you are not able to do a factory reset, dump files handy in this case. It will store the only sats which were built in in the firmware. If you like my post, please don't hesitate to click on "Thanks"button. Thank youComment
