Strangest thing with S12

From this morning when I press the power button on the remote the last screen viewed on the Skybox S12 stays on the tv screen (even though the channel goes off on the front of the Skybox) the screen only goes off the tv when the Skybox is unplugged.
I have updated the firmware - still the same, done a factory reset - still the same. Has this happened to any other boxes, can anyone offer a solution??

Do you mean the channel keeps broadcasting even when front display
shows off?
If this is the case then there is a hardware fault sorry to say nothing
can be done not worth the repair cost, not heard of this problem
happening before.
If under warranty could contact the seller to see if they can replace it.

Thank you for your reply mahrkpat, just tried shutting down on a channel and that is exactly what has happened (did not realise it because each time I shut it down previously it had been on the menu screen)

I think it may still be in its warentee I'll have to see if I still have the email or invoice.
