If you mean the channel list or bouquet, the new one will overwrite it. Just install the new one.
You should also delete any non active clines. Keep things nice and neat.
It's no problem having more then one line if both are working though. I have 1 nline and 4 clines all working fine in the same cfg file.

Previousely Entered lines will stay in your Openbox when you update the lines via USB, unless you delete them.
If you delete lines from your box and dont delete them from your CCcam.cfg file in your USB then when you update lines Via USB, they will be installed back.
In easy words The whole contents of your CCcam.cfg file on your USB will be copied to your Box. The lines wont be duplicated though.

thanks bokkie, a quick question do you sleep at all lol... everytime im installing a new cline i delete the old one from the .cfg file and put the other one on, do u mean that i can put 2 working clines into the .cfg file and put them on the box...? i havent got a different channel file that i can put on the box, i just want to go back to original setting on the box so that when i scan i can then put them together whatever way in like, i've tried a factory reset but the channel list is still there...

how do i delete lines from my box...?
i'm deleteing all lines from my usb before i add to my box but are the previously installed lines still in my box and do they have to be deleted manualy...?
any ideas how to get rid of my installed channel list...?

        thanks again.

I don't have an openbox so I'm not 100% sure. I guess reflashing firmware would do it. Or try a different channel list. There are some out there that duplicate the sly UK numbering.
Yes, no harm in having a few active clines at the same time, but not to many.
Delete any inactive ones from stb and cfg file.
Regarding sleep, not much. Work 10 hour days, 2 kids and a wife that works nights.
          Who needs sleep anyway?

How to delete lines from the box
Highlight a line with UP/Down Keys on your remote.
Press OK to select that line.
You will see a sub menu at the bottom appears for coloured Keys.
Press Yellow (Or whichever colour related) to Delete that line
            Good Luck

Just do "Delete All channels" from the channel menu and it will get rid of your channel list!!

You are welcome. You will learn with time. Openbox/Skybox are really easy to understand. Most of us were the same when we started but learn on the world's great satellite forum on the web. The credit goes to all Admin, Mods and members for doing a great job.

If it is just for 28.2e then try to get a channel list based on SGTFlipFlop's List I have found that this get regularly updated and any changes are quickly included and for me it is the easiest to find the channels I want to view.
