Give a manual IP address to your box to stop conflicting with other IPs.
Putting Satlover's lines manually may not work because the username might be too long for the manula input. The best and easy and efficient way to put clines into your box is Via USB.

ok i manually added the cline as directed above and when i press ok it just jumps to the user line as if theres a fault on this line, it wont give me the option to make it active...

i'll get there in the end.

thanks everybody for your input so far....

thanks a lot microchick, i have tried to put a cline in with usb but im having the problem i said in a previous post, unless i havent created a proper CCcam.cfg file. i'll keep plugging away and we see where we get, i'm certainly getting plenty of good advice here so thanks to everybody thus far.

When you save the notepad file it must be saved has a .cfg otherwise you will get file not found.

          ****** for a file called CCcam.cfg
Its a small notepad file. You can open the file in notepad. Copy the lines from satlover's server as they are, without any modification. Including C:
Use the upload lines via USB method. Hopefully you will be succeeded.

Please try the FTP tool it saves you plugging and unplugging usb stick also it comes with a Cccam.cfg file which you open with notepad, you just copy and paste the cline from satlovers exactly as you see it.

yes i will try FTP tool, i used this before on a cable dreambox, but i think i had to match IP addresses or something like that, will i be able to connect to the box wireless or do i need to connect up with a lead, i think i used a crossover cable with the cable dreambox, as you can probably tell im new to this side of things so thanks for sticking with me...

i have X3 lan tool will this do the job and how do i connect to the box...?

Are you doing the CCcam.cfg correctly?

open a text document in notepad.
copy and paste the cline in it's entirety in the text document
                click on file>save as
write CCcam.cfg in the name (the first 2C's must be caps)
in the "save as type" choose all files, not text documents or .txt, it has to be all files.
                click on save
And there is your cfg file
