    hi

    How did you enter the cline (remote control or via file and uploaded via usb - sorry to ask this, as I don't know the openboxes). Some tips if you enter it br remote control: ignore the 'C:' and the 'no { 0:0:3 }', also the underscore '_' must be entered. If the line is accepted, but no connection -> try another line.

    Good luck, if it doesn't work, please be a bit more specific about what you exactly do and what doesn't work.

      Like all openboxes you can upgrade by usb or a much more simpler method is to use the X3 Lan_Tool do a search for it on ****** if you need more help don't hesitate to ask.
      What ever method you use remember to copy and paste the line exactly as on the forum

        Hi welshman,

        Welcome to the best satellite forum on the web.
        Here is the procedure how to enter C line. This procedure is actually for openbox S9,10,11,12 but as all the openbox/skybox have similar menu therefore it will work on X3.

        * Menu on remote
        * Network Setup
        * CCcam Client Setup
        * Manage Config Files
        * CCcam.cfg
        * Add (Blue on Remote)
        * Protocole (Select CCcam by pressing the arrow keys)
        * Enter Host name
        * Enter Port Number
        * Enter Username
        * Enter Password
        * Press Yellow on Remote (OK)
        * Go out of this menu by pressing Exit on remote
        * Go back to Manage Config Files
        * CCcam.cfg
        *Now you will see that you line is there
        * Press Green on your remote to make it active, or any other key (OK) on remote
        It will make a check sign in front of that line.
        * Go out of the menu by pressing Exit several times.
        * Restart the box
        Hopefully it will work, depends how accurately you have entered the line or if the line is online.
        Dont Zap too quickly, Free lines take about 10 seconds to open the channel.

        If It didnt work for you. Let me know and i will post the procedure putting cline via USB.

        Good Luck!!

          Re: openbox x3

          Thanks for the response.

          I am entering the info from the remote.

          When i press yellow it simply it jumps back to username and refuses to go on to the next stage.

          I have successfully entered other addresses.

            Re: openbox x3

            Try to enter the line via USB.
            * Download a CCcam.cfg file ( ****** it)
            * Open the file with notebook.
            * Copy the line as it is from satlover's forum Example C: cccam.satlover.com 5347 65CE128A_8B57FD8C www.satlover.com no { 0:0:3 }
            * Copy the CCcam.cfg file into USB stick which should be formatted as FAT32
            * Insert the USB stick into your Box USB port.
            * Press menu
            * Network Setup
            * CCcam Client Setup
            * Update Files by USB
            * Select CCcam.CFG
            * Press Yellow (read) or just press OK
            * The box will read the data and will notify of new accounts found.
            * Go back to CCcam Client Set Up
            * Manage Config files
            * CCcam.CFG
            * You will see the Cline you just copied
            * Press Green to make it active or just press OK
            * It will put a Tick in front of that line
            * Restart the box
            and hopefully the line will be online if its not taken.
            Try to open an encrypted channel and wait a few seconds. It will open the channel

            You can copy many lines at once but remember to activate only one line at a time to avoid ban
            PS Restart is a MUST

              You can also make your own CCcam.cfg file in notepad.
              Open notepad, enter line,click file > save as CCcam.cfg,
              Note the first two c's are upper case.
              In save as file type choose all files.
              That's it, ready to put on your flash drive.

                Re: openbox x3

                Try using the X3 Lan_Tool it is the easiest method when you connect to your X3 with it :

                First of all dump all your setting files into the Lan tool folder.

                Then open the Ccam.cfg with notepad, copy and paste the free cline from here close and save the Ccam.cfg.

                Transfer the Ccam.cfg back into your X3.

                Restart your X3.
