      hi

Do some reading here in the forum and you'll find out how it works and how to enter the lines in a stb. Satlover offers some free clines to test (see top right).

A cline or nline is your golden ticket. Lol
As you have a skybox, I'm guessing you're only going to be a client.
so a cline is what you get from a server/share.
You enter the line in your emulator (cccam, mgcamd, etc) and hey presto, tv.
what dish do you have, static or motorised?

            Re: Newbie...whats a Nline/Cline??

Information is everywhere on this forum.
            Briefely
N-line means a client configuration line for Newcamd protocol.
C-line means a client configuration line for CCCam protocol.
Newcamd and CCCam are 2 different Cardsharing protocols.
Which is better - they are both good.
Which one to use - depends on your CS provider. Satlover uses CCCam, so to work with satlover servers you will need С-line

            Common misunderstanding

CCCam is a name of protocol and of a Cardsharing emulator for linux based receivers.
Newcamd is a name of protocol.
CCCam emulator may work with CCCam protocol (native) and also with Newcamd.

Nline is usually used for Newcamd
              Cline is usually for CCcam.
Each Cline and Nline has 4 basic parts.
              Host:
              Port:
              Username:
              Password:
Nline usually finishes with a DED KEY which is
              01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 which can be changed

                Re: Newbie...whats a Nline/Cline??

The problem with Openbox and Skybox is as soon you select a line you will need to restart the box. Restart takes only a few seconds but it makes the line acive. Without restarting you will naver have activate a cline.
