    Problem with openbox

A friend is giving me an openbox s10 that has a fault to see if i can do anything with it. It comes on and show the epg screen - does not show any picture, even though the signal strength is over 74% and satellite cable is in, when you go into the information screen and press 8888 shows no card!!... Really not sure what is up with it!!!

Hopefully one of you great people will say its a simple problem and tell me how to fix it

    Re: Problem with openbox

    hi

some suggestions (without owning an openbox):
    - channellist is made by own receiverscan or taken from someone else (or internet?)
    - no picture on fta channels? what if you delete a certain TP and rescan it (TP with fta channels on it)?
    - resetting and/or installing original soft and/or latest soft
    - no similar problems here in the openbox section?
    - ???

    hope this can help you

Seems like the image is corrupt..Search ****** for Erom Updater for Openbox and download Openbox software by Anonymux X. You need to have RS 232 Null Modem cable..Just follow the procedure and burn the image using Erom Updater and within minutes, the box will be up and running

There is another software available by winxpR or winRxp, can't remember exactly. Think both of the softwares are available on the openbox form. Use ******!
