Upgrade CCcam?

I have a S9 and I tried a cline yesterday. I'm in Bangladesh and all we get here on Ku band are Indian services like Dishtv, Sun Direct and Reliance Big Tv. The problem was that with the cline I only got video of some channels and no audio. Some channels had audio and video but they did not sync. I learned that it was an Openbox issue as it uses an old cccam version and that I'd have to wait until a new firmware is released with upgraded cccam.

My question is: Since it is called "openbox" and it is supposedly built on Linux shouldn't there be a way to upgrade the cccam without waiting for the factory firmware?

some suggestions (without having an openbox): is there no 'lipsync' function in the menus somewhere? Think you have to wait until some new firm comes out (not sure if this will be 'factory' firmware). Isn't there some more useful info in this section here (openbox)?

I have not seen any such option in the menus.

There isn't such option in the menu for openbox. Some of the modern televisions have it. As Openbox is a closed linux system therefore you can not upgrade the firmware just on its own. You will have to upgrade the whole firmware. There are a few firmwares out with diffrent versions of CCcam. Have a look in the openbox firmware files on satlover form. There is winRxp? and annonymousx, both have different versions.
