hi, regularly (almost every hour) my ariva disconnect from the internet, first he did not. I have to turn it off and on again.
I have the fw 1.23b2.

I read around that it is not the only one having this problem.

does anyone know how to solve it?

If you have internet on your receiver in a wireless mode, this problem can happen. Cable connection is much stable and reliable.

Hi mate

Do you have any Wi-Fi adapter?
What happens if you use cable? Do you have again disconnections?
Maybe the firmware you use has some bug.
I would suggest you to try an other.

This a little wireless mode. Because the bridge connects to your internet in a wireless mode, then you connect the receiver to the bridge with a cable. Try to connect your Ariva directly to the router. I think there must be something in the bridge's settings.

Maybe try to connect your receiver by cable to the primary internet in your home. If it works that way, you can be suspicious to the bridge. Or there must be a software bug, like kalpikos said.

I had a similar problem with my wifi router.
Try to change the Channel ID for wireless connection from your router.
Is it possible some of your neighbors to have a wifi router on the same channel as you.
Go to your router settings in wifi page, and change the channel
eg from 9 set it to 1.
Then make the necessary changes to your wifi bridge.

set it manual to a channel.
Is better to choose a small number eg 1-2
or if you still have problem you can make some tests with more channels in order to find some that is not in use.

It may also be that the IP address of the decoder conflicts with other devices connected to your network. Have you tried to disconnect all connected devices and leave only the decoder?

Perhaps it's another bug of the 1.23b2.
That's the reason why I continue with the 1.22b5.

The ariva has the (known) bug/problem that it sometimes looses connection even if you use cable (like me) and change the channel too fast. But if you use the same channel and loose connection after one hour without reason perhaps try to downgrade to 1.22b5.

@aplog: The arive has no linux/enigma2.

@filicart: How do you realise that you have lost connection? Screen message or freeze with scrambled channel?

freezes the video, then I go on ******* and says network is not aviable
