    Getting started?

    After purchasing an Ariva 102E receiver, and having a c-line ready in hand, what must one do to get started?

    Can I just go into the settings and setup the c-line or must I install something to have the share working (keeping in mind the receiver has been setup to work with the router already)?

    Thanks in advance.

    Btw, the Ariva's are great receivers so far.

    I have not used this reciver before but i belive you better update it to the latest firmware and then go in to the menu and se if ther is any cccam or newcamd server setting where you can put in the server info-

    look here: http://www.satlover.com/forum/fergus...riva-102e.html

      So create "allshares.dat" via notepad, then upload to 102E via USB? How many c-lines can the 102E open/take in one file?

        Thank you for the help thus far. Appreciate it.

        I've got one more question, however.

        What if the server/provider I'm getting the share from has different ports for each package. For example;

        Cccam/Newcamd line for 13E; port 1 for JSC, port 2 for Cyfra+, port 3 for sky IT, port 4 for Orange, port 5 for cyfrowy polsat. Would i just repeat each line with only changing the port number? If so, what if there are more than 4 ports to input and thus 4 separate lines?

        Is it possible for all of them to be accepted and opened by the 102E? The same goes for multiple packages from different sats (ex. 4-5 from 13E, 1 from 7E, 2-3 from 9E = multi-LNB setup)?
