best image for Et4000

what is the best image for this unit?
is there any point in installing tsmedia?
i am interested in sports?

you have a wide variety of images available to you from the OE-Alliance such as Vix,OpenAAF etc.. and you also have the official Xtrend support image and the main OpenPLI image.

They all pretty much perform the same as they are all based on OpenPLI, some are easier to get plugins for such as cams etc.. and some you will have to manually load yourself.

TSmedia will load either from the download server of the image you have on the box or manually via .ipk installation

Your receiver is a linux based receiver, so you have many choises.
You can try openpli image as is the one of the biggest team.

As for tsmedia,
I think that if you install the tspanel or trr plugin you will not have any problem and you will be able to find not only tsmedia but many more.
