ET 5000 (Clarktech / Xtrend) icw HDD

    Dears,

I have a question about using a HDD in combination with a Xtrend ET 5000 (former ClarkTech).

It has 3 USB ports on it and I have read the manual several times, but nowhere I can find the answers on my questions:

    - What is the maximum size of HDD which I can connect?

    - What kind of HDD can I connect? Should it have its own power or can I also use bus powered HDD's?

    - If you know the answers, maybe you can give me an advise which brand+model is best?

    Thanks in advance!

I really don't like to bump this thread, but I really could use some help as I still didn't order a HDD for an ET5000. Or can I use all HDD, doesn't matter if it bus power or the size etc.?

In theory and in practice all that you connect the HDD will be good.
      Recommend plugin device manager.
