Think there is either something wrong with your remote or the batteries.
Are you using good quality batteries ?

Re: Remote control and life of batterys

Usually remote controls use very little power when operating. They last for years and spacially when you have good quality batteries, they extend the life time by 80%. There might be a short circuit in the remote. Please check the PC borad of the remote or simply just buy another remote on fleabay.

          Thank's for the replys guys.
Now i know that it is not a general problem with these remotes.

Well , i just buy another pack of alcaline batterys , let see how much time they last this time , i maybe fall on a pack with bad batterys, usualy as said by someone here, the batterys for a remote control should last for years. Or it's the remote who have a problem.

          Anyway, thank's again.
