    Change name of a Tv/Radio ?

    Hi guys.
    I have a ET9000 runing with E2 , and i wonder how the hell can we change the name of program ?
    I did succefully did that with dreambox edit, and it worked 10minutes, when i did zap and back, the name sent by the broadcaster was there.

    A solution ?

      I have got such an options in Openbox where you can edit the channel name. May be go to the edit channel option in the menu and there might be something available.

              most times when you change settings in a box, it normally ask you if you want to save.
              perhaps you did not save!
              Do not send me iptv/cline requests,

              technical or iptv/cline server questions in PM!

                  Hi,
                  Well , i did sent the list of chanels with the modfied name to the receiver, the receiver did assume the change after a reboot , but after a zaping the name is the one sent by the broadcaster.

                  Also, on some RAI's , sometimes instead of the name comes the Frequency as name , ... i do some zapping and when i back , RAI 1 name is back or maybe not... i also have the same problem with Some ( +/- 15 ) tv channels on Astra28.2, but on Astra28.2 these channels are always listed as Frequencys.

                  Seem to me that the ET9000 take the information of the name of the chanel all the time , so , even if you change it, as soon as the chanel send the name, ET9000 will assume the information and over pass any change made before.

                  It's like in some autoradios, you don't have RDS , so you can in rare car radios input a name, but as soon as RDS is there , the name you did input will be replaced by the name sent by the RDS.


                  For those of You who have ET9000 and Enigma2 , please do it a try.
