    Re: azbox bloced on checking

Your report has been very helpful to all of us ... disconnecting devices is a wise way to troubleshoot problems.
But I would investigate further because if hd is ok, and you can check that very easily, it could mean you might have problems with power supply rails.
The increased power required by hd may have brought power supply out of it's working conditions (because some capacitor is near to fail).
    So, keep eyes open !

I sended several times the channel list without problems. This is the first time after a rebooting that the stb not working. The only thing that I can do is the rebooting, anything else. I found many post about a block on booting but anything on checking. My stb end the booting and stops in the cheking phase.
        Can anyone help me ?
I see this is an old post, if you have not fixed it yet, this is an easy fix for an azbox HD stuck on checking.
first load new firmware on a usb.
next rename it patch not patch.bin just patch.
turn off the azbox and put the usb in the front usb port.
now turn on the azbox and when you see checking start pressing the ok
button on the front of the azbox until you get the blue screen to load the firmware then format the app and load the firmware.
        Hope this helps.
