This has been published today on official Opensat forum:
During the last months, we are faced with the tremendous lack of support, from Sigma, in relation to the Android platform. This led to the irremediable Sigma“s unilateral decision to discontinue support OpenSource and only provide minimal support to selected partners, as well as remove the project MIPSANDROID.com, severely damaging all the work done on this platform, an innovative and consistent project, a result of our relationship with users and their feedback.
This decision, and after the bad experience we had in the past with closed applications, particularly with Celrun, led us to decide to release all the source code we used, and all the developments made in Android (available for everyone, you just need to ask for by sending an e-mail to info@opensat.eu).
Following the entire line of MIPS philosophy, we focus only on open source technology because we believe it is the only way to provide adequate support to our users in a increasingly demanding market!
