I already did with null cable modem with U-boot.bin via hyperterminal. still have "00.00" nothing connected.
I cannot flashing due to all button seem to be not working.

when connected via null cable modem, there a list of command as follow..

          "U-Boot 1.3.1 (Nov 15 2010 - 17:57:53) - stm23_0043 - YW 1.0.018 Rel
          DRAM: 128 MiB
          Board: STx7111-Mboard (MB618) [32-bit mode]

              new model, new rcu. SHD-8900
Problem is I just cannot flash the image due to corrupted boot loader and not the image problem.

                  hi

Has been discussed before: not all usb to RS232 converters work fine -> try to use a pc/laptop with a RS232 connection ; handshake normally not needed (so pic of gauloises1 should be enough) ; also check com-speed of the box and take the same one on the laptop/pc/port (see port settings). Basically important to check if your serial nullmodem cable RS2312 is surely working!

Re: Flashing problem Alien 1 (LOAD)

all effort and step has been made to ensure my pc, interface in working condition.
I'm using factory fabricated serial cable and RS232 interface. All existing stb's (amiko,Openbox and Dreambox )worked by using this cable, so I'm sure the problem lies on this Amiko only.

Normally when Amiko bootup it will go for U-Boot then go for option ENiG or Spark or Flashing option. So I might say this is a bootloader. when it corrupted the stb will not boot to spark or Enig. The stb will display "00.00" instead.

                    Thank for opinion and suggestion.

                        hi zdan

I agree with gauloises1 - this really helped me in the past, but I suggest to shut both box and router down and even remove all cables, for at least a complete night. Think it's worth the try
