Hey Gauloises1 thanks for coming back to me. I don't know what the problem is, i have downloaded all i can find about the oscam for alien and followed what everyone has so kindly put up here but can't seem to get my head around it. I only run 2 sats 28e & 19e and cant seem to get either running.CCCam is so simple and oscam is so difficult that it seems that i am destined not to be able to configure it. I have Amiko Alien running spark with cccam 2.14. wanting to view the packages on the two birds i mentioned above. I cant work out all the extra bits and pieces to get it running like srvid, server, keys, user, dvap & services and cant find what i need to dl for the birds i am pointed at. cccam is so much easier just enter cline and away you go. I think its too much to ask anyone to talk me through it all just because i am an idiot who cant get his head around it

did u scanned 19 and 28?sh40 proc(alien) DONT have cccam,only oscam,mgcamd....you cannot put cccam into alien.i will be back at home in 5-6 hours and i will help you.please leave me in pm your skype or ym

this is my mgcamd for alien
in cccamd.list put your cccam lines,in newcamd list your n-lines
give to files attributes 755 after you have copied

ok you said you are running cccam on your receiver but as gauloises1 said you are using a fake cccam because there is no real cccam for your box (sh4 processor). so it is better to run either mgcamd or oscam. i have uploaded an oscam (v1.20 svn 7180) for your receiver (oscam.rar). first download it than unzip it and transfer it to your box with dcc. the default path is var/bin. check if your fake cccam is in this folder as well to be sure that this is the right folder for your emu. please dont forgive to change the attributes to 755. you can use dcc for this procedure too.

afterthat download the second file (config.rar). there you will find these files: oscam.conf, oscam.dvbapi, oscam.provid, oscam.server, oscam.services, oscam.srvid and oscam.user. now you have to edit the oscam.server (howto post #4) with either your n- or cline. you dont have to change the other files. afterthat transfer the files to your keys folder on your box to var/keys or var/tuxbox/config. sorry but i am not sure about that. activate your cam via your menü and see if its working.

note:
after you have succesfully installed your oscam i would recommend you to change the default port/username/password for oscam in oscam.conf.

in spark put oscam and mgcamd in /var/bin with total commander or another ftp.important:change attribute to 755
config files(oscam and mgcamd) put it in /var/keys.reboot your alien and you should have oscam and mgcamd in menu......
