Re: C line in Amiko SHD-8900
if you want to use c-line with sh4 you have two option
1) use oscam-ymod, it's an improved oscam version which reads c-line like cccam
2) use pure oscam, and instead of c-line you have to use the oscam.server file (there are lots of tutorial on how to write a oscam.server file with c-line informations)
I have tried both, and both are really good, much better than cccam214 (it's unstable and freezes)
I prefer oscam, is the stablest working plugin on spark boxes.Comment

Re: C line in Amiko SHD-8900
I use mgcamd 1.35a on mine and run the cline through that. works like a dream if you have you mg_cfg set up correctly
unfortunately i am away on holiday at the moment so can't help you with the set up. But if you pm Gauloises on this site i'm sure he will give you a hand as he helped me set mine up. By the way i run in either but generally Spark coz i find if i change channels too often on E2 it locks up.Comment

Re: C line in Amiko SHD-8900
In PKT images (and also all E2) cccam214 is not available, also on spark cccam214 is not real cccam but a modified version of mgcamd.
Use oscam that work well. Only one think: into PKT images there are two or three version of oscam but all are old, prior to version 1.20. Use HDMU image or newer oscam version for Spark, they are the same.Comment

Re: C line in Amiko SHD-8900
you got some information now...
my experience with my dual os stb is that spark is running more proper and without any issues....
best cam to use on spark is oscam (but look out, not every oscam svn is stable on spark system, tried various). you must decide of your own first which system is more comrfable to you.. and then find out which cam fits bestComment

Re: C line in Amiko SHD-8900
Oscam is still the best whether on spark or e2, but the way you install and setup is obviously different between the two. Personally I perfer e2 with the new OpenATV image. As vinican says if you tell us which image you are using we can advise on how to load it.Comment

Re: C line in Amiko SHD-8900
In E2 u install mgcam, wicardd(1.18) or oscam/Vizcam and maybe it is easy to edit ccamd list for mgcamd (usr/keys) but for oscam and wiccardd it is harder becos wicardd u need to write it like this way:
[reader]
active = 0
name = cccam
type = cccam
account = userass@hostort (lol-the smiley is instead :P)
debug = 0
reconnect_delay = 10
emm_cache = 1
ecm_ttl = 15000
And most important is to config "filter"
In oscam/vizcam u need to write in usr/keys/oscam.server like this:
[reader]
label = name
protocol = cccam
device = host, port
user = user
password = pass
inactivitytimeout = 30
group = 3
cccversion = 2.2.1
cccmaxhops = 0
ccckeepalive = 1
But very important to have a good dvbapi
hope this serves u any way.Comment
