CHANGELOG

Patched kernel, to be able to query the vfd type. Either 4 chars or 8 chars. More patches are needed to have proper progress on vfd during e2 start. Those are minor ones put up but even they cost some time. And of course, vfd plugin needs some translation. And more tests on 7162. Especially the dimming feature
which has been changed on display during boot

1. u-boot -> boot
2. loading driver -> init (hopefully centered )
3. starting e2 -> -PB- (hopefully centred)

Feeds updated, some WiFi fixes as well, hence new images...

KNOWN ISSUES

- juddering on menus if a HD channel is active. -> solution switch to 50Hz video refresh rate.

Amiko SHD-8900 Alien Lavatronics OpenATV 4.1 July 2014 Backup Image

OpenATV brings the SH4 Enigma2 firmware to a truly different level – a HUGE thanks and respect to the OpenATV team!
This is a genuine OpenATV backup and not simply a Spark Plugin backup, therefore this image may be flashed both directly by USB stick (Kingston recommended) or using the Spark Upgrade Plugin

This is a backup image from OpenATV 4.1 firmware (July 2014 above) with a few changes. This is created in mind of trying to cater for the masses with 28.2 East Sky UK/Freesat as their main satellite feed, naturally it can be adapted to work with most any dish setup/configuration you need it to by making changes to the tuner configuration but if you have a fixed dish on 28.2 East then this will boot up to BBC One on channel 101 and be ready to use straight away.
