ATTENTION: There is new script for db.dat consistency checking which will be launched automatically for every db.dat that was never checked before. This script runs at startup and depending on how many satellites you have configured it may take between several seconds and several minutes to run. During its runtime there will be a message "DB CHECK" shown on VFD display. PLEASE BE PATIENT AND LET IT FINISH. It only runs ONCE per db.dat. It will be run again if you replace your db.dat with another one which had never been checked before. If you want to repeat the check, use Telnet command: "optset pgi_db_check 0" followed by reboot.
- Fix: persistent EPG did not work if there was no epgdata.dat file already existing (now created automatically)
- Fix: persistent EPG feature could place random characters in EPG data if EPG was empty
- Fix: formatting USB devices using OSD menu option should work

1. OSD Improved

Caution
1. Back up your data of HDD
At first, you have to back up recorded file or photo, mp3 data from STB
before downloading this image if you need. This image is supported to something
different file format or data format compare with previous software image.
2. Format HDD
You should be format HDD after downloading completed this new image,
otherwise, it will be possible to malfunction about PVR, timeshift, mp3,photo album and so on

Known issues or to do list ;
1. Multiple files editing function in media list menu
at this moment, it is not supported to copy file on root on USB memory, you have to make a folder at USB memory
2. Move prev/next track in music files
3. Channel list option as 2 row, simple list
4. Expand photo album format such as bmp, png
5. Blind scan function for sharp tuner
6. EPG permenent storing in HDD
7. Enabling Media list menu without HDD

Note.
1. Prohibited to recording, and PIP function in Server box when Multiroom Service or Streaming Player is running.
and The boxes should have same FTP user ID/Password with server box and client box when you use Multiroom service function

2. ext3 file system is slower than ext2 normally.
If you will record two HD channels with ext3 at the same time, it may fail in record.

we have checked the speed as below
ext2 speed : approximately 7MB/s
ext3 speed : approximately 3MB/s

If you want multiboot function, download attached multiboot-***X.img.
Then press number button which you want on RCU when start up from shutdown.
Multiboot function supports as below style.

# 1 boot with CDKroot(NFS)
# 2 boot from USB memory stick, with internal HDD
# 3 original images as current flash memory
# 4 boot with NFS
# 5 boot from USB memory stick, but without internal HDD
# 6 boot from internal SATA HDD
# 7 boot from flash memory for another image

* Improved image quality in PiP
* A large number of improvements for PiP and sub-channels
* Reduced the reload time receivers with tuners Conexant (download microcode in tuner is only when necessary)
* New tool to convert recordings made on previous versions of firmware in the new format (thanks arvy), see CONVERTER_ru.txt
* Effects of colored buttons (except blue) can now be reassigned to all models of receivers using the web interface

This image is based on the new DGS Images. There are significant differences between this version and earlier versions before PGI 0.8:

* The image used new drivers and a new kernel, along with the new graphical interface
* The images from the older images are NOT compatible with this version, but there is a tool to convert it (see CONVERTER_de.txt)
* The old plugins from the images are NOT compatible and must be updated so they work again

With the last image was an issue of 'compatibility' with the skin bluemoon
For the record ... when you try to read news via RSS-NEWS decoder was in panic, while the default skin is not the problem it is.
Well ... I have solved the problem of panic with rss-news now and then the skin is used BlueMoon
I have created, and then, a new version based on 9000HD 'last published by ngc1927 r13366 (which of course thank you)
These additional features:
· Default skin bluemoon
· New splash-screen (custom SifTeam ... done in 5 minutes, but I hope both of vs. Rating)
, Acting on default image I added the script and format_pendrive_sdb1_2_3_4 show_multiboot

This is the new splash screen that appears when loading the firmware

Questa immagine é predisposta per aggiornare l'EPG INTERNO (quello che appare premendo il tasto EPG) per SKY MEDIASET TIVUSAT

CROSSEPG NON DOVREBBE ESSERE PIU' INDISPENSABILE
Potete anche non installarlo, ma se volete continuare ad usarlo.. l'unica accortezza da avere é disabilitare il sync al boot

Dopo aver installato e configurato l'immagine...
se premete verde appare il sif panel 0.6.1 (grazie ngc1927) dove ho aggiunto la voce EPG-download

Premendo il tasto 9 inizia il download della guida.
L'EPG si può scaricare in qualsiasi momento.. non é necessario il cambio canale e richiede poco tempo
Un messaggio a video avverte che il download é iniziato e dopo circa 10/20 secondi apparirà un altro messaggio per avvisare che il download della guida é terminato
Dopo il download per aver disponibile la nuova EPG é necessario il riavvio del decoder
E' possibile automatizzare il download tramite crontab che é già preinstallato (all'interno trovate la riga da decommentare per schedulare il download alle 4 del mattino)

IMPORTANTE:
Per un corretto funzionamento...L'hdd deve essere partizionato con le classiche 2 partizioni:
SDA1 linux swap (che verrà attivata automaticamente, é importante perché all'avvio il decoder bufferizza l'intera guida)
SDA2 linux standard (per le registrazioni)

Comunque... é la mia prima versione EpgReady e quindi per capire se funge davvero..dobbiamo aspettare un po' di riscontri sperando che siano positivi
