    Gigablue Quad Plus

    Hi everybody,

now I am a proud owner of a GigaBlue Quad Plus

    I will try to play a while and give a feedback about it;

if anyone out there has already some experience with it,

    please let me know!

    Thanks!

It is fast and it looks good
You will not burn your hands if you touch it after an hour such other cheap sat receivers.

    I can fully recommend it!

      I fully agree!

really powerful device and I am happy to be away from clones that give
problems if you install original images on them!

        Re: Gigablue Quad Plus

What is the make/type of satellite tuner used by this box? How does it compare in sensitivity to others you may have?

          Re: Gigablue Quad Plus

sorry picoman, I do not know what type of tuner it is inside, but I cannot notice a big difference to the tuner of e.g. the sunray. Obviously having now two tuners on a box it is a
very useful advantage! Gigablue offers an app, so you can connect to one tuner at any time from the iPad/iPhone.

            If you got to
            Menu/Information/About
you should see the Tuner type listed at "Detected NIMs"

                OK.
That is different to those in my Vu+Duo and ET8000 - AVL6211 and AVL6222.
I'm having issues tuning some channels with the one in the ET box.
