Can you give a bit more details.

    Hdmi-handshake/cable/plug-error?

        Re: problem hdmi

the question here is probably that after you switch on your TV and receiver, TV cannot find automatically the receiver, and is connected to the terrestrial television channels

          Check your hdmi-cec configuration parameters.

As Above switch off the HDMI-CEC switching as this causes more issues that it can solve

              hi

I agree with the above suggestion, also take a look at possible other settings on your tv (and perhaps satbox) - isn't normal, does it happen with another hdmi-cable also?

edit: some tv's have a setting to skip some inputs (my sony lcd tv has this setting) - make sure this is inactive on that hd-input.

                Hello

Check your settings both on your tv set and your receiver.
Be sure that all is ok.
Pay attention on your tv settings , because I think the problem is from there.

Also, you can test an other hdmi cable from other device.

Sure happens simply because the poor quality of the connector, change it and see how the problem disappears
