    Are you setting it up with usals?

      Are you trying to set it up on a previous install or a new install done by yourself

        had a spiderbox working perfect but that used disc to move to sats so dish seems fine
        this giga blue box dont want to lock on when i use usals and when i try to drive motor my self its not picking anything up i can use a meter and all i want to do is setup like my spider drive to sat and store position but this box not having it

          In usals have you entered long and lat correctly?
          Try sending dish to 0 and start again.

            Re: gigablue 800se cant lock onto sats

            this is my latitude
            Latitude = 53.7416, Longitude = -2.3990

            Lat = 53 degrees, 44.5 minutes North

            Long = 2 degrees, 23.9 minutes West
            so i put long 002.000
            lat 053.000

              Its pointless trying to get it setup using USALS when the previous spiderbox was using Diseqc 1.2 with each satellite saved as a reference number, Which tells me that either when first installed it was installed via diseqc 1.2 and if that is so then you can enter settings all day long in your lat and lon settings because the dish is slightly out and USALS is not as forgiving as Diseqc 1.2.

              What you will have to do is get all the saved satellite numbers from the spiderbox in diseqc 1.2 and transfer these numbers over onto the gigablue, You will of course have to do this manually via the remote

                  I've answered before with the placement of the antenna, but if you use USALS, engine is that you, and me giving me problems is not able to send either the order of movement thereof, is because it has little amplification, in same conditions to me mvision moves the engine a 300 and a DM400 but this takes almost one hundred percent to obey signal.
                  or firmware that are not currently Gigablue well made

                    You will have to put the spiderbox back in place where the gigablue is now and then go to the menu satellite settings and get all the stored position numbers from each satellite stored so say 19° east is Pos 5 13° east is Pos 12 etc... then write them down put the gigablue back in place and then go to menu satellite setup and change to advanced and choose a satellite choose Diseqc 1.2 then scroll to the very end and it will ask do you want to use USALS for this sat select NO and then eneter the corresponding position number for that satellite and repeat until all are done.

                      is a problem I have for months, and I see I'm not the only one that gives the motor Gigablue problems, I think the tuner module gives the amp not enough and that is the reason for not sending the order necessary to locate the precise satellite

                        have you tried to do it manually then by storing the positions of the satellites or maybe your motor is not compatible with USALs.
