    gigablue 800 se tuner sensitivity

does anybody have information about the tuner of this receiver. how is its sensitivity compared to vu solo or any other boxes. how is its sensitivity at signals near freezing limit when compared to other boxes.

i am asking because currently i am using a clone 500s and watching many channels near freezing limit. some frequencies are watchable only at certain hours of the day. this is why i dont want to buy a box with weak tuner.

The tuner sensitivity on the boxes are pretty awful compared to other boxes.

I was planning to buy gigablue se. its price is relatively low compared to other boxes. Is it that much bad for weak signals and tuner sensitivity? I did a search about its tuner brand but find nothing. anybody know its tuner brand?

@OP Tuner sensitvity is not bad not great either but on an install i did with a TD88 and a Black Ultra in fine weather the GB was able to lock 7° west with around 32% snr on the receiver, i think the threshold may be around 30% or just under.

Switching from a dm500s clone I found a sharp improvement (judging by some channels that where at limit ...).
For the rest, GB800SE is in my opinion one of the best for performance/price ratio.
