Hi lajos,
there are some "clones" which are not realy cheaper than the original. I think this boxes are fallen from a truck.
And there are real clones for less than 400€, but this boxes have a much badder hardware (less ram, cheaper cpu,...).
So at the moment there is no alternative to the origin dm8000.

I want to know some info about the cloned dreambox aswell, I want to know do the images work well, also does the card sharing work any good? Any clone users want to give me asnwers I would appreciate it.

Hi,
there is a clone version of the dm8000 from ferrari team.
Unfortunatly, the production rate is low and it is difficult to find some (I found few units in an uk webshop) and the price is approximatively 470€.
I don't have feedback of this model, but usually clones have a poor quality comparing to the original one (but I am satisfied with my dm800 clone regarding the money I spent for it)

You can fin easily already patched images for clones which work perfectly, and it is not necessary anymore to play with the bootloader. It is also the case for the dm8000 from ferrari, and it is easiest to find the images than the box itself.
