In the Dreambox settings menu, after entering parameters, it prompts you for card. I chose "Other". Is that correct.

Sorry but I do not understand ... you enter dreambox settings only to write down the ip address of the receiver and then quit from the menu ... why should it ask for a card ?

In Skyg*bber when you set up dreambox when you exit a small window opens asking which card to use. I will get screenshot and post

Ok, now I understand ... it's dvb card !
We have dreambox at the place of dvb-card so "other" is the first candidate.

I must have some other setting wrong. It connects to box, sometimes hanging uo dm500, but i get no signal.'

Is that necessary, that your dreambox also on same transponder or on standby ?

I presumed that it will have to be on data transponder and tuned to that for safety sake.

I use the Pli Enigma webinterface in conjuntion with S-grabber for easy management.

So you ever succeeded to grab data through Dream Box ?

Never. I get it to connect to dreambox, but the signal strength indicator remains zero.

Hi many people are asking if someone else get this work with a dreambox. i still believe that its not worth it but i sure like to play with somethink new. so did any of you make it work?

Do this grabber work on openbox F3??? or is't only for non inigma boxes?

this has brought back some memories I remember getting my ss2 from europe on line and subscribing to them I think then it was 10 meg download speed. I used to belong to a forum which would announce what time stuff would be coming down and you would filter it from there.

What great days they were I remember downloading the superman film and I missed a part of it and had to download it at 56 k great fun. I stayed up all night watching it magically appear on my hard drive.
