Will this work if I'm trying to pull-off a DVB-S2 and currently I just have a DVB-S Card.

No it won't work DVB-S2 Standard is different fron DVB-S.

There are two new key features that were added compared to the DVB-S standard which are:

1) A powerful coding scheme and a

2) VCM (Variable Coding and Modulation) and ACM (Adaptive Coding and Modulation) modes.

I found that DVB-S receiver when catching dvbs2 channels writes them to RADIO list
Doesn't play them then for sure.

I think the best dvb-s2 card for hd channells with cam interface is skystar usb2 hd ci.

smart dvb has an option that can update transponder list on scan screen. it will be better to do so i think.
