Daum PotPlayer 1.5.39145 Beta
Code:
•Added the ability to set mouse wheel left/right actions •Improved touch feature •Fixed an issue where certain DVD subtitles doesn't show up •Improved game capture function* ◦ability to work with online games ◦ability to work with both 32 and 64 bits applications ( The new DLLs GameCaptureHook64.dll,DesktopHook64.dll,DesktopHook64.exe allows you to capture video image of 64-bit Direct3D/OpenGL applications in 32-Bit PotPlayer under 64-Bit Windows! (The English PotPlayer updater skips these files under 32-Bit Windows naturally!) ) *Game Capture is one of awesome features of PotPlayer that allows you to record the video and the audio being played by other 3D Graphic programs.(Direct3D or OpenGL based applications) This feature can be used for many purposes, for example you know that video recorder functions of DVB player softwares are very limited if you're watching Digital TV channels on the PC.So they just allows to record video as it is in MPG or TS format. Therefore, if you want to reduce the size of the video file or convert to different formats such as MKV then you need to use an encoder program after recording. So with PotPlayer's game capture function you can capture video image of these Direct3D/OpenGL applications and record it directly in your desired resolution, format, bitrate, FPS, etc. Also this feature can be useful for programs which does not contain recording feature! Follow the steps to try this feature: •Open PotPlayer and press Alt+D to reach device settings, in Screen Capture tab set method as Game Capture, set resolution and FPS according to original video and set audio device as Stereo Mix* then click OK. •Start to play a video inside an other Direct3D/OpenGL based DVB/Media Player (Such as Windows Media Center (If you're on a 64-bit Windows then you can use 64-Bit PotPlayer for this test)) •Press Ctrl+S in PotPlayer, select the related program and click OK. •After the video appears within the program, you can press Alt+C to record video and audio together or press Shift+G to record audio only. •*To record sound from streaming video on the PC you would need to use a stereo mix option. If you can't see a stereo mix selection in Alt+D > Audio device settings in PotPlayer then it may have been disabled in the system. To enable it go to Control Panel > Sound > Recording, right click on the background of the tab and select show disabled devices, find the "Stereo Mix" (or Wave Out mix) item, right click on it and select enable. Here is a screenshot while capturing video image of a demo Direct3D/OpenGL based DVB Player.
