    XBMC is a front-end. You must use a back-end software like VDR which has a CCCAM plugin AFAIK.

        I have already posted a tutorial for vdr installation on Ubuntu in this thread but since I could not find a good reference for the CCCAM plugin installation, I have not tried it yet.
