    channel info-window.. removal

    Hi
I installed the latest version of DVB-viewer
and I m having a problem with the small window
that is shown all the time on top of all other windows
I can't figure what is causing it to appear
I suspect that LAV and AC3 codecs or maybe the DVB-viewer itself ...
    Thanks for your help

    I use Hauppauge hvr 5500

      Probably an error message.
      A screenshot would be helpful.

        Hi
        No it's not error message
It's a small window that shows the number and the name of the current channel
and the name of the program playing
It has no option menu, it's like (smaller) CMD-line - window with light blue text
... and it stays in front of other windows..
No click or such possible , but it can be dragged by the mouse..
I wonder did I enable it or is it default with the new version...

Thank you for your quick reply..

Are you sure is not the EPG info, that should vanish in some seconds?

              Hi
I think it's not the EPG info

I just wonder if I enabled it or is it a default with the new version...

Thank you all for your help

I think the link is working or at least is working now.
                  Anyway what's the actual message?
                  What is written inside?
                  Does it change with channels?

It looks like channel number, name and EPG.
There should be an option to turn it off.

                    Check this:

                      Thanks for your replys
It seems that the version 5
has this annoying OSD and it can't be removed ...
                      although
Wonder why would they put it and who the hell would like something like that hanging on their desktop, and without the option to take it off...
                      HOPE they fix it soooon...

Again thanks to you all for all your help

                        Doesn't this work for you:

start menu > DVBViewer > Support > Tweaker > Enable the OSD

                          Re: channel info-window.. removal

                          Hi
                          I found the problem
                          I reinstalled dvbviewer
started the program without plugins (no hadu... and other)
and it didn't appear at all
so I started to put the plugins that I use one by one,
it seems that the whole problem was a plugin that I don't even remember how did I put there, or where I got it..

                          LCDDriver.dll

                          Funny isn't it
But anyway the problem is solved
                          and again
thank you all for all your help...
