DVBDream with Skystar 2 Problem

On Win 7 x64 + Skystar 2 rev. 2.3 + technisat 4.6.0 drivers , i'll tried all posible variants and i can't manage to make DVBDream to reconize my PCI Card.

Is there any known issue regarding this or it just won't work with a technicsat board ?

maybe the`ve used the compatibility mode integrated in windows. or you just try the virtual windows xp mode you can install for windows 7 ^^

But the problem is not of windows version, it is of x64 and x32 bit. I' don't think virtual mode will solve the problem of driver installation

actually it does. i have win 7 x84 and an really old scanner that has only drivers for windows xp x32. ive installed the virtual mode and inside the drivers and software for the scanner. dont ask me how this works but i do have the option from within word 2010 to scan a picture with the scanner.

in first you must install the driver , or try to know if the version of dvbdream is compatible with win7

DVBDream needs BDA drivers, that's all.

If you install the BDA ones then will work just fine on Win 7 x64 or x32.

I had the solution from some time but forgot about this post.

One more issue regarding skystar solved !

As far as I know BDA the driver work without problems even on x64 OS

Witch version of dvb dream you are using? try dvbdream 1.5 E.

OK, I think the same as you, install the last version o DVBDream 1.5f and the last drivers of SkyStar2 from Technisat.

The last versions of DVBDream are fixing windows 7 bugs.
