Black screen

Following my previous post (as yet unanswered) I have worked out how to display the channel list, but every channel shows a black screen even though I can record a programme on it and watch it in a viewer.
I have 2 questions.
1. How do I display the channels correctly?
2. I have scanned 113 channels and can see EPGs for all of them, but the channel list (from which I can record) only shows 70 channels. Why is this? Is there a solution?

I now have a possible reason for the black screen:
"Selected channel is not on active transponder"
How do I activate a transporter in AltDVB (terrestrial only)?
Since I have already scanned so many channels, why are the transponders not already activated?

I hope there are some AltDVB users out there who can help.

hi dude,
there are some boxes activate paytv channels or free or favorites or radio/data/tv. That must be the reason why your channel list hide some channels.

Blackscreen depends on the codecs. Install some codecs (dscaler, elecard, cyberlink) and graph files, dont forget to register (there is a .bat file in altdvb subdirectory to register i think the moonlight codec).

Most likely see the channels blacks because of a wrong codec. Try different codecs. You have the same problem both for those MPEG2 MPEG4?

how is your signal strenght? is there some?
