observe cpu in freezing moments. But quad core should be enough.
which player and codecs do you use?
Only encrypted hd channels freezing or all?
    Please push thanks.

        Like I told before
Quad core is very good but not for altdvb.
When this software stopped developing there were no multicore CPUs. There's a check-box "use hyper threading " in settings page. If you check it - you will be able to use more then one processor, but altdvb becomes very unstable.
If you uncheck it - altdvb will use only one core and it may be not enough to carry HD video.
Another possible cause of freezes - wrong renderer. Try all it offers and choose best.
