What DVB-S or DVB-S2 player uses you?

For me the best is DVBDream v.1.5f to watch HD Sat tv.
I have tried ProgDVB and I found it very unstable, I have tried DVBViewer Pro too, but for me DVBDream is more reliable and easy to use than another one.
Codec Arcsoft for DVB-S and DVB-S2 (need pc less resources)
Card: Skystar HD2
Graphics card:ATI HD 4500 512 Mb.
Ram memory: 2 Gb DDR2
Procesor: Pentium D Dual Core.
Motherboard: Asus
Emulator: Hadu
Dishes: 2 (Astra, Hotbird)
No motor.

AltDVB would be the best but it doesn't work good on multi-core systems, for it's development stopped some years ago. Too bad. But it's the fastest one and it's free. All other progs are commercial and this means people who wrote them thought more about theft protection then about functionality.
I use DVBViewer myself. This player pretty far from ideal, but I like it more than progdvb and dvbdream.
What I like most:
- very good OSD
- it works with TevII remote
- it's fast
This player's got dubious interface, but I got used to it.
about codecs
coreavc for h264 ac3filter for sound
not sure about mpeg2 codec, tried different - can't say what's the best

I use mytheathre and dvbdream. both of them are good for me in skystar usb2 HD CI dvb card. only problems in scanning.

I mainly use dvbdream but progdvb used to work well but it seemed to time expire.

i use dvbviewer you can play your dvds with it(divx,xvid whatever) , have the weather/news infos through the net, timeshift , EPG, subtitles and many other features.

DVBviewer is the best player for DVBcard, only player who can be compare with DVBviewer is Mytheatre, every other is rubish...

did you try ProgDVB

ProgDVB for my system is very unstable, I doesn't tune fine all channels and have some bugs, as vertical black lines and crash a lot.
DVBViewer is perhaps the best, because have subtitles, teletext, you can see 3D anaglyph tv, etc...
But for me, to watch tv, the best is so far DVBDream 1.5e, speed, easy and intuitive interface, and quality are the best qualities of this viewer.
Someone else want to tell us their experiencies?

yeah, i tried a lot of players with different hardware and drivers. Its just incredible what ALTX developed. Altdvb is perfect ... fast, compatibility, functions, stable, clear and compact.
Althoug its very old its more modern than actual player versions.
ProgDVB is gaggy ...
Smart, Dream and Hispa seems to be little Brothers of Altdvb
Dvbviewer is not bad but by far not what ALTdvb is but has a lot of functions.

I'm using DVB Viewer Pro for "normal watching" and for DXing AltDVB and ProgDVB.
Both Skystar2 and Skystar HD2 USB CI are working good.

the simple dvb card just can process the dvb stream ... and dvb-s stream need a better card that can process the dvb-s stream ...
but ... i dont know what is the difference between dvb-2 and dvb-s

I prefer progdvb. It 's OK for dvb-s2 and hd.

progdvb is best, although a bit heavy as compared to rest of the dvb players.

little addition: only shareware of progdvb seems to offer hdtv / dvb-S2

Update : Last time I checked Progdvb free has now enabled dvb-s2 , but disabled diseqc .
